The best gasket materials are butyl rubber, Vyton and Teflon. Materials that work well include natural rubber, EPT, Hycar-RS24, and EPDM. Neoprene and Buna S should not be used. 最好的垫圈材料时异丁橡胶和聚四氟乙烯。其它材料如天然橡胶，乙烯再烯三元共聚物，合成橡胶及三元乙丙橡胶亦可。但氯丁橡胶和丁苯橡胶不能使用。
